The dragon is a noble symbol and appears on the National Flag of Wales. It was officially recognized in 1959. The red dragon also features in the Mabinogion where it goes on to defeat the white dragon, the Saxons. In Medieval times the dragon would be featured on Coats of Arms to signify that the bearer was “the keeper of all Knowledge” – in other words the bearer was a man of wisdom.
Many myths exist but today the dragon is a true symbol of Wales and her long and proud history.
Made of .925 sterling silver this pendant is available in several chain lengths.
